Music, Film & Literature

Reviews, essays, and interviews with creators.

Essays & Commentary

Personal narratives, opinion pieces, trend pieces, cultural critique, and videos.

Visual Work

Photo essays, illustration, and multimedia pieces.

Sports & Culture

Not just scores or stats — stories about fans, communities, identities, rituals, and the politics around sports.

Food & Identity

Culinary storytelling that explores tradition, innovation, migration, memory, or politics through food.

City Life

Urban development and challenges, local guides, subculture deep-dives, community-focused stories, and profiles of significant cultural figures.

Politics & Power

The interplay of dominant political forces in Pakistan, geopolitics, international affairs, local activism, grassroots movements, and under-reported social issues.

Economy & Work

Economic trends and developments — how people hustle, resist, adapt, or reimagine economic systems.

Genres we accept: reportage, reviews, cultural commentary, columns, personal essays, and photo essays.

We are currently seeking long-form reportage based in Pakistan, and essays and columns in: fashion, food, finance, sports, science & technology, geopolitics, and international affairs.

We favor writing that is voice-driven, inclusive, and grounded in experience.
